For participating in our video contest (april 2011), you need to upload the video to YouTube and share it on our Facebook page.

How to upload your video to YouTube and share it on Facebook

The first thing you have to do is create an account on YouTube. To do this, you have to go to www.youtube.com and in the top part to the right you’ll see a button that says “Create account”, click on it and register.

If you already have a YouTube account, or if you have already registered, the next step is to log in to your account. On the top part to the right you will see a button that says “Sign in”. Once you have pressed this button, you will go to YouTube´s access page, where they will ask you to introduce your user name and password.

Once you have introduced your user name and password, click on “Upload”

To choose the video that you want to upload from your computer, click on upload a video and then look for the video that you want to upload, and then you choose it by clicking open.

Once you have uploaded the video on YouTube, click on share and copy the link so you can share it later on Facebook. the links of the YouTube videos look like: http://youtu.be/mdVHj7J_JvE or http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mdVHj7J_JvE.

To share the video on Facebook, log in to your profile and if you don’t have one, fill in your personal details to register.

Once you have logged in, go to Palm Beach Hotel´s Facebook page. You can find it typing Palm Beach Hotel on Facebook´s search engine or following this link: http://www.facebook.com/palmbeachbenidorm.

Once that you’re at the Palm Beach Benidorm Facebook profile, paste your video´s link on the wall and add a comment if you want to and make all your friends LIKE your video.
