The queen of the seas returns to Terra Mitica
Nights at Terra Mítica have become a summertime classic for all those summer fun lovers. The theme park remains open until after midnight during the summer season, to offer visitors even more time to enjoy rides and attractions.
Trademark attractions, such as Magnus Colossus, Europe's largest wooden big-dipper, Syncope, Inferno, The Cataracts of the Nile, Fury of Triton and Titanide, are just a few examples of the fun which can be had everyday, from 10:30 am at Terra Mitica, as well as shows such as IMPERIUM, an international circus spectacle, with artists from the Cirque du Soleil.
However, as the sun goes down, the magic of the Land of Excitement takes over and leads one into an enchanted evening. The complex reaches fever pitch and a climax of beauty, offering visitors the chance to experience Terra Mitica as it turns into the very best summer garden.
To put the golden finishing touch to the day, Terra Mitica has launched the star of all nighttime wonders: Queenwater. With the emergence of a geyser, reaching heights in excess of 30 metres, from the centre of the Egyptian Lake, the show takes off, with 38000 watts of sound, a giant 20m x 15m screen, projecting refreshing scenes to cool you down and a majestic, breath-taking firework display. In 2013 the Queen of the Seas returns to Terra Mitica, every night at 10:45 pm.
